Swedish Massage Treatments
The technique of Swedish massage as we know it today did not appear until the late 19th century when Per Henrik Ling, a Swedish gymnast formulated the principles of Swedish massage. This massage will enable you to feel relief from all tension and stress.
The therapist will achieve this by applying slow, rhythmical gliding strokes into the muscle and soft tissue, generally in the direction of the heart, for example from the wrist to the shoulder.
The massage is applied with your preferred aromatic oil using the whole hand (palms and fingers) starting from the back, to the front abdominal area, head and finally the face. Emphasis will be placed on a stomach massage, improving digestive circulation.
Time required 60, 90, 120 minutes.
